A new Shabbat experience where our creative process becomes a spiritual practice! The third session in this series is open to everyone ages 15+. Using the Jewish Studio Project methodology, we’ll imagine a more just world through a combination of Beit Midrash – the study of texts from Jewish tradition and the contemporary world – and art-making. This is a space of possibilities, where everyone will have a chance to draw, paint, collage, or assemble – using whatever medium delights you each day. No art experience is required at all; it’s all free-form exploration and play. This program is supported by a JSP microgrant. Learn more about Jewish Studio Project at www.JewishStudioProject.org.

Sharoni Sibony is a JSP Fellow, training with the Jewish Studio Project’s Creative Facilitator Training Program to bring the JSP methodology to Toronto communities. Sharoni is an experienced educator and life-long learner across multiple disciplines, including pottery and other arts, Jewish Studies, Jewish Literature and local Toronto Jewish history. She’s worked with the DJC as Youth Coordinator for High Holydays for three years and is excited to share the JSP process with you!
