Mondays at 1:30 p.m. at Beth Tzedec (in person and via Zoom)
Back by popular demand, Hana Werner presents snapshots of the Biblical and modern-day stories, scrolls and characters. This year's series will explore many visionary Jewish leaders, each inspired by a “growth mindset”. They are guided by a strong sense of Jewish peoplehood and destiny and work tirelessly to achieve it.
The mystery of our history is shaped by revolutionary thinking and practice that transformed adversity to resilience, and promoted the survival of our people. Join us as we explore the history of Yochanan ben Zakkai (April 24); Israel Ben Eliezer (May 1); Eliezer Ben Yehudah (May 8); Emma Lazarus (May 15); and Ze’ev Jabotinsky (May 29). Note there is no session on May 22.
Cost for in-person participants: $45 for series; $15 per session (in-person programming includes snacks)
Cost for online participants: $30 for series; $10 per session
