A Temple Sinai Program: Daniel — An Unsung Hero of the Bible with Rabbi Lawrence Englander
Who was the first person to pray three times a day facing Jerusalem? Where do these expressions come from: “feet of clay,” and “the writing is on the wall”? Where does the “apocalypse” get its origin? The answers to all these questions are found in the Book of Daniel. He is the biblical hero who withstood the heat of the fiery furnace, calmed the lions in their den and saved the Jewish people during their time of exile in Babylonia. Join us as we read and discuss these fascinating stories! Time: 7:00 p.m. Cost: Members: Free; Non-Members: $10 per session.
