Ashkenaz faves Cesar Lerner (piano, accordion, percussion) and Marcelo Moguilevsky (clarinet, sax, wooden flutes, harmonica) return to the city that introduced them to the international Jewish music scene nearly 18 years ago. Born to Russian and Polish grandparents who immigrated to Argentina at the turn of the century, the dynamic duo has developed their own improvisational musical language, combining elements of the klezmer and Yiddish musical traditions with Argentinian folk music, jazz, tango and other world music influences. Lerner and Moguilevsky have performed all over the world and have released a number of acclaimed CD recordings.
