In 2014, Jewish Comix Anthology collected 41 stories from 47 comics professionals. For the first time, 3 of the contributors will come together for a free panel discussion on adapting Jewish stories into comics, presented by the Association of Jewish Libraries (Ontario Chapter) with Community Partners Miles Nadal JCC and the Toronto Comic Arts Festival. The participants are : Liat Shalom (freelance graphic designer, “A Grave Matter”) ; David G. Klein (author-illustrator of The Golem’s Voice) ; Steven M. Bergson (Data Processing Specialist at UJA Federation of Greater Toronto , editor of Jewish Comix Anthology). The panel will be moderated by Keith Friedlander (Professor of General Arts & Science, Humber College). Light, kosher refreshments will be served. A limited number of copies of the authors’ books will be available for sale.
