The Miles Nadal JCC, and ITANU Toronto, the Inclusion initiative at UJA Federation, are excited to offer you FREE professional development.

All organizations, including non-profits, are required to make websites and communications accessible under the AODA legislation. Join us for a workshop with Accessibility Ontario entitled “Accessible Communications: the AODA and Beyond”.

Date: Feb. 18th
Time: 3:30-5:00 p.m.
Location: Lipa Green Conference Hall (Bathurst and Shepphard)

This workshop will focus on:

• An introduction to web and document accessibility best practices that can help organizations meet their obligations under the AODA Information and Communication standard.
• An overview of how people with various disabilities access the Web, including a screen reader demonstration.
• A selection of tools for creating and evaluating accessible content will be covered and benefits beyond accessibility (known as "curb-cuts") will be highlighted.
