On the first night of Chanukah, as Chabad @Flamingo again celebrates the ancient heroism of our brave Maccabees and their miraculous deliverance, we'll be screening this compelling film for free! It's the first major feature-length documentary film about these airmen of the '48 War of Independence, and it features new interviews as well as stunning aerial footage to present a fascinating, little-known piece of history with heart, heroism and high-flying chutzpah. The screening will be followed by a live interview with Captain Bloom, one of the Canadians who participated, especially joining us from Montréal for this event!   Celebrate the Jewish Festival of Lights as we kindle our giant Menorah, and then enjoy this remarkable story of these modern-day Maccabees!
