A Temple Sinai Program —The Chasidic World of Elie Wiesel z”l with Rabbi Michael Dolgin
“Yad VaShem v’Sippur” — A name, a monument and a story. Elie Wiesel z”l was known and respected for being a voice of conscience and reason in a broken post-holocaust world. While he spoke of events of the day, he also honoured the memories of the Hasidic world in which he grew up by sharing the stories of the founders and practitioners of this form of Jewish spirituality. Join Rabbi Dolgin to honour Wiesel by sharing his teachings, based on his book, Somewhere a Master: Hasidic Portraits and Legends. We hope to honour the memory of Elie Wiesel while finding comfort and inspiration in his teaching. Time: 7:00 p.m. Cost: Temple Members: Free; Non-members: $5 per session. For more information and to register, please call the Temple Office at 416-487-4161 or email programs@templesinai.net. 210 Wilson Avenue.
