A Temple Sinai Program: Celebrating Israeli Innovation During Sukkot
Wednesday, September 22 at 7.30 p.m.

Join Rabbi Lawrence Englander and special guest Shani Azulai, Deputy Consul General at the Israeli consulate in Toronto, to view and discuss the short film Sustainable Nation.

Our concern about the climate crisis can dampen the rejoicing of Sukkot. As we give thanks for our harvest, we worry about the next one. Our concern extends to Third World countries whose limited resources are stretched to the limit; yet, we shall see in this film how Israelis are helping to bring new hope.

Let’s come together to listen to the significant innovations in water conservation, its connection to Judaism and why there is much for which to be hopeful.
