A Temple Sinai Program — Because You Were Once Slaves in Egypt — Assisting the Yazidi Community in Their Time of Need

In August 2014 the Yazidi people of Iraq and Syria were driven from their homes. Those who managed to escape have become refugees within Iraq, Syria, Jordan and abroad. They cannot go home again. Geoffrey Clarfield, Executive Director of Mozuud Freedom Foundation will address the history of the region, how the survivors of the ancient world, Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, Mandaens and Yazidis lived together. Mirza Ismail, Founder and Chairman of the Yazidi Human Rights Organization International will talk about the 72nd genocide of his people and what they have been through. Time: 10:15 a.m. There is no charge, but registration is preferred.
