Inspired by Klezmer and Balkan styles but informed by everything from jazz and classical music to bluegrass and reggae, Beyond the Pale’s music traverses a vast and exotic musical landscape, bound by no particular idiom but shaped by many. Their exuberant live performances range seamlessly from raucous dance rhythms to intricate chamber-folk stylings. They are three-time Canadian Folk Music Award winners and have toured extensively across North America, Europe, Australia and Brazil.
