On Sunday April 19, 2026, at 2:00 pm, the Toronto Workmen's Circle Foundation will commemorate the 83rd anniversary of the ill-fated 1943 uprising of the of the Warsaw Ghetto's Jewish inmates against their brutal Nazi oppressors.

The program includes poetic and prose readings and songs in English and Yiddish as well as a talk by guest speaker, Rivka Augenfeld, Yiddishist and human rights activist.

The program is a virtual representation of the commemoration which the Toronto Workmen's Circle / Arbeiter Ring and later the Toronto Workmen's Circle Foundation have hosted the past 70+ years, including excerpts from previous programs.

All Yiddish readings and songs are either repeated in English or subtitled in English.
