The Canadian Jewish Literary Awards honors its 2025 winners. Authors discuss their award-winning publications on important Jewish themes and diverse subjects, in categories that include Fiction, Jewish Culture, Biography, Memoir, Yiddish, and the Irving Abella Award in History. 2-4 p.m., followed by a reception and an opportunity to meet the authors and have them autograph their books. Online video link also available.

Free but advance registration is required, via the link on the website (https://cjlawards.ca).

Poetry: To All the Mirrored Doors of Beginning, a Journey Ending, by Ruth Rifka (Wipf and Stock Publishers)
Scholarship: A Time to Sow: Refusenik Life in Leningrad, 1979-1989, by Michael Beizer and Ann Komaromi (University of Toronto Press)
Yiddish: Poem by Poem, Fable by Fable: Discovering My Father and Learning His Language, by Anna Miransky (Wipf and Stock)
Youth: The Light Keeper, by Karen Levine and Sheila Baslaw; Alice Priestley, illustrator (Second Story Press)
