A Message from UJA Federation Leadership

Another year has come and gone, and while we reflect with great pride upon all that was  accomplished during UJA’s 2012/2013 Annual Campaign, we look forward to another year of serving the incredible community that is Jewish Toronto.

Year after year, the support and passion displayed by the men, women and children of this community, and your commitment to UJA Federation of Greater Toronto has helped make our city one of the most unified in the Diaspora.

UJA Federation has been the one constant in our community’s past, present and future. It is the thread weaving together the rich and colourful tapestry that is Jewish Toronto, and it is the hand reaching across the ocean, in Israel, and to Jews in need wherever they may be. It is the engine that drives over 100 hundred agencies, programs and schools, including our advocacy partner, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs. Together, we are able to provide services that support our most vulnerable, create education programs and supplementary schools, and stand united with the people of Israel.

No other organization assesses and responds to the needs, and provides leadership, for the entire Jewish people. No other organization funds the entire spectrum of Jewish community services in Toronto. No other organization maintains the infrastructure and has the ability to respond to the big challenges facing the Jewish world today.

But we simply couldn’t do it without you - our passionate and generous donors. We thank you for your commitment to tikkun olam and to the Jewish people, and hope that, together, we can continue transforming Jewish life.
