Please join UJA’s ShinShinim in virtually commemorating Yom HaShoah and hearing the powerful testimony of Holocaust survivor Sol Nayman.
Born in 1935, Sol’s family was forced to flee their hometown of Stoczek Wegrowski, Poland when the Nazis attacked in 1939. Throughout the war, Sol and his family were deported to several labour camps in the Soviet Union and Ukraine. In 1948, they were admitted to Canada as part of the “Tailor Project”. Sol now lives in Toronto with his wife Queenie. They have two sons and five grandchildren.
Committed to Holocaust education and opposing hatred of all kinds, Sol has shared his remarkable survival story all around the world. We hope you will join us in commemorating the Holocaust and carrying on Sol’s legacy.
