On Sunday, September 17 UJA and CIJA - UJA's advocacy arm - hosted a Rosh Hashanah lunch for 140 vulnerable members of the community. It was a chance to raise awareness about poverty in the Jewish community. It was also to allow those living in poverty a chance to celebrate the holidays with their community. It's just one of many ways we make an impact in people's lives every day. As we enter the new year, we wish everyone health, happiness, and peace. Shana Tova!
