CIJA Combats Antisemitism

At UJA's 2019 Annual Campaign Closing, our advocacy agent the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) aired this impactful video describing their mission to preserve, promote, and protect Jewish life in Canada through advocacy.

With antisemitism rising around the world, we all have a role to play in strengthening the Jewish people. An effective strategy to fight antisemitism begins with a clear definition, so that authorities—and all Canadians—can identify and combat it when it arises. Queen’s Park is currently considering Bill 168: The Combating Antisemitism Act. If passed, Ontario would become the first province to adopt a strong and clear definition of antisemitism that includes the targeting of the Jewish state.

With just two minutes of your time, you can help make this happen.
