UJA is committed to alleviating the effects of poverty by partnering with organizations like Jewish Free Loan Toronto (JFLT), which offers interest-free loans to Jews in need throughout the GTA and Ontario. JFLT has issued over 700 interest- free loans, totaling more than $2,600,000. This vital service for our community’s most vulnerable is based on the Jewish principle of G’milath Chasodim or "Acts of Loving Kindness." ​We are proud to support JFLT and will continue to work with our partners to alleviate the effects of poverty in our city.
