2014 National Bible Contest Held in Toronto

Winners to Represent Toronto and Montreal Next Year in Jerusalem

From May 11th to 13th the 2014 the National Bible Contest was held in Toronto. The Bible contest (Chidon Hatanach) is co-sponsored by The UJA Federation’s Julia and Henry Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Education, The Bronfman Jewish Education Centre and  Jewish National Fund. This contest offers students a chance to study Torah from a selection of chapters and compete within their age cohort to represent their schools. There are three divisions: grades 5 and 6; grade 7 and 8 ; grade 9 through 11 in both day and supplementary schools across the GTA.

The high school winners will represent Toronto and Montreal in the International chidon held in Jerusalem next year on Yom Ha’atzmaut
