My year in Israel was a life-changing experience. I came in a little scared and unsure of myself and I left feeling like a confident adult. I learned how to live with others and on my own, I learned how to show up to work on time every day, and I learned a ton about Israel and my own Jewish identity. Some highlights of my year were spending time with our amazing tour guide, Noam. He had an environmental angle that really enriched every one of our trips. I loved visiting Masada, walking through the Jordan River, and getting to see every part of the Kinneret. I had an amazing time on my Masa Year of Service. Getting to meet new people and learn unforgettable life lessons were experiences I will always cherish.
