I had the most amazing time this past year in the Arevim Masa Year of Service. I loved the independence, being able to live on my own and have my own job. The program had a good balance of letting us be independent while also having some prepared programming for us. We had shared apartments and had to deal with the responsibilities of running a home while also getting to go out and travel on fun trips on our own and with the group. As well, I really enjoyed my volunteer placement. I learned a lot during my time volunteering at the hospital and was surrounded by really nice and supporting staff. But my favorite part of this past year was the people. We all became really great friends over the past year and made the best memories together.
