SPEAKERS
Catherine (Kiki) Delaney, President of Delaney Capital Management
Kiki Delaney founded Delaney Capital Management Ltd. in 1992. Kiki is involved in all aspects of the business, from portfolio management and investment research to client service and administration. First and foremost, her efforts are dedicated to the analysis of companies and the management of client portfolios.
Kiki began her career at Merrill Lynch before moving to Guardian Capital where she managed equity and fixed income portfolios. Immediately prior to Delaney Capital, Kiki was a partner, executive vice president, and portfolio manager at Gluskin Sheff & Associates.
Kiki has a BA from the University of Manitoba and is a CFA charter holder. She has been awarded honorary degrees from the University of Manitoba in 2011, OCAD University in 2012, and Mount Saint Vincent University, in Halifax, in 2014. In 2016, Kiki received the Edmund C. Bovey Award from Business for the Arts in recognition for her lifetime support of Canadian arts and culture. In 2017, Kiki was inducted into the Investment Industry Association of Canada Hall of Fame.
Kiki has served on the boards of many not-for-profit organizations across Canada. She is a board member of Art Canada Institute and member of the Finance Committee and Nominations and Governance Committee. As well, Kiki is Chancellor Emeritus of OCAD University and Chair Emeritus of Art Canada Institute.
She was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in 2006.
Michael Katchen, Co-Founder and CEO of Wealthsimple
Michael Katchen is Co-Founder and CEO of Wealthsimple, Canada’s leading financial services innovator which serves over three million Canadians today.

Sarah Fulford, Editor-in-Chief, Maclean’s
Sarah Fulford is the editor-in-chief of Maclean’s. Prior to this, Sarah led Toronto Life for 14 years. During her tenure, the magazine won dozens of National Magazine Awards. In 2021, Toronto Life was awarded the NMA’s Magazine Grand Prix, the best magazine in the country, for its work covering the city during the pandemic. From 2018 to 2021, Sarah was the volunteer chair of the Toronto Public Library Foundation.
