Led by the efforts of UJA 2022 Annual Campaign Chairs Angela Feldman and Richard Diamond, and the Chair of UJA Women's Philanthropy, Sara Gottlieb, along with our committed and passionate volunteers, United Jewish Appeal’s Annual Campaign aims to strengthen Jewish life and assist Jews in need in Toronto, Israel, and around the world.
A gift to United Jewish Appeal's Annual Campaign provides unrestricted funds to meet urgent, ongoing humanitarian and social service needs of Jews locally and globally, to strengthen our community’s relationship with Israel, to grow Jewish education and identity, and to counter antisemitism. **Our 2020/2021 grant distributions include allocations funded by annual and emergency gifts to the 2020 Campaign, which raised a total of $86.4 million. Given the multi-year impact of the pandemic on our community, emergency funds from the 2020 Campaign are being strategically allocated on a multi-year basis. Further emergency allocations will be made in fiscal year 2021/2022 and will be reported on in next year’s Annual Report.
