The "Stash" is an unaffiliated congregation founded in Toronto in 1909, and we are proud to say that services have been held continuously and without interruption since then.  A small congregation with 200 seats we offer a friendly and welcoming community that prays and learns together, and where everybody knows your name.  Intellectual Judaism has become a reference phrase that we appreciate. Membership fees are kept to an absolute minimum, and High Holy Day tickets remain at $100 each.

 

Cantor Littman is a very recent and welcome addition to our synagogue and to Canada.   A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music in vocal performance, she received her cantorial ordination from JTS, and her doctorate in Divinity and Pastoral Counselling from Hebrew U.  A more welcoming person and voice cannot be imagined.
