Reform - affiliated with Union for Reform Judaism

A Reform Congregation with a traditional orientation serving Oakville, Burlington and Halton Region. Rabbi Stephen Wise leads our congregation in weekly Shabbat morning services, Shabbat evening services, festival services and adult education. 

The temple has about 165 families as members. Shaarei-Beth El offers Jewish education for all ages through its youth and adult education programs. Our school is run by Cheryl Wise. The school offers a comprehensive Hebrew and Judaic programme for students from tots to 16.  The Synagogue's aim is to reach out to people at all life cycle events and to encourage Jewish identity, involvement and continuity, in a meaningful and enjoyable way.
