Jewish Free Loan Toronto (formerly Toronto Jewish Free Loan Cassa) was founded in 1924 with the single, simple aim of helping people help themselves.  

A pioneer of the micro-finance movement, JFLT endeavors to  empower individuals by granting interest-free loans based on character rather than collateral. Today, JFLT offers  community members access to Personal, Business and Fertility and Adoption loans up to $7,500. Students from the GTA can apply for up to $10,000 through J-SAP- Jewish Free Loan Toronto’s new Jewish Student Aid Plan.
