Israel And Golda Koschitzky Centre For Jewish Studies At York University York offers 25 to 30 Jewish studies courses a year with approximately 1,000 students registered. The Centre sponsors courses, research projects, and community programs related to Jewish learning. Among the areas the Centre has been developing are: Hebrew Language and Literature, Classical Jewish texts, Holocaust Studies, Sephardic Culture, Jewish Education, Jewish Thought, Jewish History, Jewish Community studies, Jewish Literature and Film, and Jewish Sport and Leisure. The Centre also houses "Parchment" in the Canadian-Jewish Literary annual.
