SPNI, established in 1953 is the largest and most beloved environmental organization in Israel.

The Canadian Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (CSPNI) was formed in 2012 for the purpose of raising awareness.

It raises funds for the many important projects of SPNI including: environmental protection; saving endangered species, birding; protection and creating hiking trails; promotion of sustainable development; and children's eco education.
