Israel Education through Authentic Learning, featuring an immersive, in-person workshop powered by the innovative approach of OpenDor Media.

During these uncertain and challenging times, we need to be able to discuss and educate students on the complexities of contemporary Israel. Understanding how to create authentic learning experiences, especially for students who are facing unprecedented anti-Israel and antisemitic sentiments, is crucial.

UJA Israel Engagement, in partnership with OpenDor Media, is hosting an in-person Israel Education Booster geared towards teachers and educators in Jewish institutions in the GTA. This professional development workshop will focus on contemporary Israel education.

Attendees will leave with the tools and knowledge needed to teach students about contemporary Israel, helping them create a deeper connection to Israel and their Jewish identity. Community members are more than welcome to join us!
