Canada is accepting thousands of Syrian refugees and has a long history of accepting refugees from many countries. The result is multiculturalism. Israel helps Syrians by secretly sending teams into the country, bringing out those in need of medical treatment, and once treated, returning them to Syria. But what about those from Sudan, Eritrea, and other places, who want to come to Israel and stay? How does Israel meet its humanitarian obligations and still continue to be a strong Jewish state?
