Temple Sinai: Join Our Flash Mob to Send Support to Israel!
Sunday, November 26 at 10.30 a.m.
Temple Sinai Parking Lot
This Chanukkah, we had been hoping to welcome 16 teens from our sister congregation, Kehillat Yozma, in Modi’in, Israel. They were meant to stay with Temple families for the entire eight days of Chanukkah, to join our own teens for a Shabbaton retreat, and tour and learn about Jewish life in Toronto.
Sadly, because of the war, this visit has been postponed, but we still want to send them a message of support, love and hope.
We are filming a flash mob to send that message on Sunday, November 26 in our parking lot, and we need as many people as possible to make it work!
Please let us know if you are interested in participating by RSVP’ing to deb@templesinai.net
We ask that you show up on Sunday at 10.30 a.m., wearing white on top.
We will film from 11.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.
If you can’t make it next Sunday, please join us in the Sanctuary on Tuesday, Nov. 21, or Tuesday, Nov. 28 at 7.00 p.m. to participate in singing Hatikvah, a special Israeli Chanukkah song, and offer a short message of support, to be included as part of our video.
