ROSH CHODESH: Henrietta Szold: Educator & Social Activist - MONDAY MARCH 25 at noon
Our topic is Henrietta Szold (1860-1945), best known as the founder of Hadassah Women's Zionist Organization of America in 1912. The daughter of a rabbi, she was highly Jewishly educated, having studied at the Jewish Theological Seminary on the condition that she not seek rabbinic ordination. Henrietta was the first editor of the Jewish Publication Society, where she worked for 23 years. An active Zionist, she was dedicated to a binational solution for Jews and Arabs in then-named Palestine.

Everyone is welcome to join us, in person or via Zoom.
