Tell Your Children: Black Slavery, Spirituals, and Storytelling at Passover

7:00PM - 8:00PM

Contact Elizabeth Narvaez

A race-centered panel in preparation for Passover and to mark D.C. Emancipation Day. The conversation will feature Black perspectives of Passover themes that often serve as points of coalition and connection for Jewish and Black communities– the Exodus, yearning for freedom, and gathering in community. We hope to foster conversations on race, anti-Black racism, and religion that resonate and inspire as we move into Passover celebrations and embolden us to continue work for liberation year-round.
