Israel’s remarkable, yet still little-known, achievements in space technology, exploration and security will be the theme of the Canadian Institute for Jewish Research’s Toronto, 28th Anniversary Annual Gala, April 12, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency, 370 King St. W, 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.) The Gala gathering will be dedicated to the memory of Israel’s first astronaut, Ilan Ramon z”l, who lost his life in the February, 2003 NASA Space Shuttle Columbia disaster.
