Between them, our two young Shinshinim, though both Sabras (born in Israel), can trace their roots to Germany, Poland, Spain, Russia, Brazil, and Persia. Of course, the Israeli Arabs trace their roots to many places as well. How does such a varied population co-exist in a Jewish democratic state?
