Yaakov Katz, former Editor in Chief of the Jerusalem Post and a Fellow at The Jewish People Policy Institute (JPPI), will visit Beth Tzedec as our scholar-in-residence to share his firsthand knowledge from the Israel/Gaza war. What good news is there to share from the current IDF campaign, and what challenges lay ahead? What will be the impact of the recent Supreme Court rulings, and what will happen to the Israeli government? What about the day after the war?

Then at the catered Shabbat dinner following, he will give a presentation on "A Nation at War and in Mourning: How October 7 is Changing Israel", concluding with a question and answer session.
