Interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), developed in the 1960’s, is a research based, short-term therapy, originally created for clients with depression. It has been adapted for clients with binge eating disorders and Bulimia and is recommended as a first line treatment. Cindy Goodman Stulberg will describe what IPT is, how it has been adapted for eating disorders, the research on its use. This program was made possible through the gifts of Barbara & Lorne Bernstein and the Kedushat Haguf Fund. In partnership with National Initiative for Eating Disorders.
