The modern Talmudic Scholar Adin Steinsaltz describes the Priest and Scribe Ezra as ‘the first sage, of all those who studied and interpreted Torah and taught the people, to be identified by name.’ Utilizing an array of sacred and contemporary resources, we will enhance our understanding of this important teacher of Judaism during Israel’s Second Temple Era.
