Join us in person for a screening of the documentary Dear Fredy, the animated documented account of Fredy Hirsch's heroic actions. Fredy a proud homosexual Jew, ran a daycare center for 600 kids in Auschwitz and fought to his last breath to maintain their human dignity. A story of triumph and heartbreak.

Screenings of the film were recently banned by right-wing Israeli municipal governments due to the open discussion of Hirsch's sexuality. As a community that celebrates equality and dignity for all, Temple Sinai is proud to present this story.
