How to Get Involved
MARCH OF THE LIVING - An annual educational program which brings individuals from all over the world to Poland
and Israel in order to learn about the history of the Holocaust. High school, young adult and adult programs are
available.
Birthright Israel - Birthright Israel provides the gift of a free 10-day trip to Israel for Jewish young adults
ages 18 to 26. Birthright Israel’s mission is to strengthen Jewish identity and peoplehood among Jewish young adults.
CIE is the only Canadian trip organizer for Birthright Israel. After the trip, UJA & its partners help connect interested
participants with opportunities to further develop their relationship with Judaism, Israel and community.
MASA ISRAEL JOURNEY - The leading organization in the longterm Israel experience space offering over 200 Jewish
studies, academic programs, internship and volunteer opportunities in Israel lasting between 5-12 months for young
Jews (ages 18-30).
ONWARD ISRAEL JOURNEY - This summer program takes you onward - personally and professionally - and allows
you real networking opportunities with Israeli peers and an authentic taste of modern day Israel. Onward Israel Journey
Toronto is powered by UJA Federation of Greater Toronto programs and is open to participants between the ages 19
-27 (program length varies).
NEUBERGER TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES - Unique trips designed for young professionals to discover and engage with
Jewish past, present and future life in European countries like Vienna and Berlin.
Family Mission to Israel - This is the chance you've been waiting for! UJA Federation is launching a Family Mission to Israel that will take place August 19-26, 2018. The mission will incorporate aspects from traditional trips along with activities and experiences that will be particularly meaningful to children of a variety of ages!
