Drive for Dreidels

Drive for Dreidels

Hanukkah can be a difficult time for parents who cannot afford to buy gifts for their children. This Hanukkah, join UJA Women’s Philanthropy in supporting Jewish Family and Child Service (JF&CS) with their Drive for Dreidelsa toy drive for vulnerable families in our community, as well as Israeli families who are celebrating the holidays away from family and friends.

This Hanukkah, we can be the light and bring holiday happiness to families in need.

How to help:

1. Sign-up to donate toys for community members whose families would otherwise struggle to share Hanukkah gifts this season.

2. Go shopping, purchasing toys and/or gift cards for children of all ages, such as:

  1. // For children ranging up to 10 years old, consider toys like Lego, Barbies, STEM and/or sensory toys.
  • // For children aged 11 and up, gift cards valued at $50.
  • // Board games are great options for the whole family.

3. Bring your purchased items to your selected drop-off location. These items will be shared with families in need throughout the GTA via JF&CS

We kindly ask that all gifts must be in their original packaging, but that you do not wrap toys before dropping them off. Please ensure gift cards are in envelopes.

DROP-OFF INFORMATION:

Tuesday, December 3 – Thursday, December 5, 2024

9 AM - 8 PM

Drop-off locations are situated throughout the GTA (see below). Please choose your preferred location upon registering.

Please note that there is a bin where you can drop-off your donations in the lobby of Lipa Green, next to the security desk.cisenberg@ujafed.org

Thank you for helping community members in need this Hanukkah season, and making this holiday a beautiful one for those who need it most!
