Through education and remembrance the Centre safeguards the lessons of the Holocaust in order to nurture an inclusive society.
Numerous educational and community outreach activities include Holocaust Education Week, museum tours including dialogue session with a Holocaust survivor speaker, maintaining a database of Holocaust survivors in Canada, Educator seminars, senior student symposium, preserving Holocaust survivor testimonies and artefacts, performances and cultural events, school programs, Holocaust education resource trunks, the Frank and Anita Ekstein Holocaust Resource Collection with staff assistance and curriculum consultation.
Open to the Public: Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Friday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Sunday and evenings by appointment. Closed Saturdays and Jewish holidays.
