UJA passionately believes that every community member who wants to grow in their Jewish knowledge should have the opportunity to do so. This is why we work to remove financial barriers to meaningful Jewish experiences, including Jewish day school. Approximately one in three students enrolled in UJA’s funded day schools currently benefit from Day School Scholarships, which help lower day school tuition for families in Jewish Toronto.

How are Day School Scholarships funded?

The Tuition Assistance Program is funded through UJA’s Annual Campaign and our affiliated day schools, thanks to thousands of generous donors in our community.

How are Scholarships awarded and who makes the decisions?

Scholarships are awarded in the form of reduced tuition fees and are based on demonstrated financial need from your family’s current year projected income and assets.

The application review process for all Day School Scholarships is entirely confidential—all review committees must follow strict privacy procedures when processing applications.
