This calculator can only provide an estimate regarding your eligibility for and approximate tuition fee with a Day School Scholarship. Confirmation of your family’s Scholarship eligibility can only be determined after registering for your school of choice and applying for a Scholarship. Admissions decisions are solely the discretion of the schools. UJA does not collect any of the information that you provide through the Day School Scholarship calculator.
The Tuition Assistance Program is funded through UJA’s Annual Campaign and our affiliated day schools, thanks to thousands of generous donors in our community.
The Generations Trust Scholarship is a new UJA initiative made possible by a local group of visionary Jewish philanthropists. Donations to the Trust are invested as an endowment and managed by the Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto. Funds from the endowment will be used to subsidize Scholarships on an annual basis.
Scholarships are awarded in the form of reduced tuition fees and are based on demonstrated financial need from your family’s current year projected income and assets.
Tuition Assistance Program applications are reviewed and decided upon by each school’s Tuition Assistance Committee, based on UJA-provided guidelines. Generations Trust Scholarship applications are reviewed by the Generations Trust Scholarship review committee convened by UJA.
The application review process for all Day School Scholarships is entirely confidential—all review committees must follow strict privacy procedures when processing applications.
