About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Assistant Director Salesforce, the Salesforce Administrator will play a pivotal role in the ongoing development of our Salesforce Org. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of improving processes and driving user adoption on the Salesforce platform. This role will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining and improving the Salesforce platform, including user training and support, security, reporting, data hygiene, and business process automation. Working with a small team, the successful hire will be the primary point of contact for all Salesforce-related projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily administration and support including user setup, profiles, permission sets, public groups, reports, dashboards, etc.
- Resolve support tickets in a timely manner
- Partner with organization’s cross-functional stakeholders to understand and document user requirements, and propose technical solutions to address changing business needs
- Design, test, and implement robust solutions to satisfy business requirements leveraging Salesforce’s declarative tools (Objects, Fields, Record Types, Access Settings, Flow, Validation Rules, etc.)
- Create and maintain technical and user training documentation in support of continuous platform enhancements
- Balance multiple projects, ensuring consistent communication with stakeholders and completion by project deadline
- Process batch data updates, including preparing and cleaning data, to maintain data hygiene and import external data
- Keep up to date with new Salesforce releases and other integrated applications; provide recommendations when necessary to enhance productivity and implement best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, testing, data integrity, etc.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years in a Salesforce Administrator role
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification considered an asset
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning and Flow
- Experience with NPSP, Pardot, Community Cloud, Conga Composer/Batch, Data Loader, SOQL, Visualforce, Apex, or Excel considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to communicate issues and resolutions in both technical and non-technical terms to various stakeholders
- Proactive and self-driven, effective in working independently and collaboratively with a team
- Critical thinker adept in solving complex problems
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
* This is a full-time maternity leave contract position (approx. 18 months), union classification F. At UJA we support a flexible work schedule and all of our employees engage in hybrid work.
