About the Opportunity

UJA is seeking a passionate and organized Marketing Manager to join our Marketing department and to act as key Marketing consultant on campaigns, events and program materials. Reporting the Senior Marketing Manager, s/he manages his/her portfolio with a vision to build the UJA brand, with a strong focus on executional success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing plans for each campaign within the portfolio
  • Develop workback schedules and ensure all creative project details and deadlines are recorded within Asana (our project management tool) and proactively follow-up with Designers, Writers and Digital team to collect missing details on time
  • Ensure project and design briefs or requests are submitted properly and with the appropriate detail, and align to UJA’s overarching marketing and brand strategy
  • Provide direction for all collateral, and other visual and digital communications; ensure marketing campaigns are designed for a positive donor/participant experience, maintain brand image and standards, and deliver on project objectives
  • Liaise with Project Leads to ensure collaboration and cohesion with Marketing Department
  • Proactively consults with key departments and divisions to keep them informed of upcoming workload; keeps design, digital and content leads informed so there are no surprises
  • Anticipate and resolve problem situations


  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years’ relevant work experience
  • Current knowledge of print and digital production process
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues
  • Proactive with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in project management and budgeting
  • Effectively presents work, and collects and communicates feedback
  • Approaches creative with enthusiasm and passionate about creative excellence
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical capabilities with excellent attention to detail; strategic thinker
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Asana or Wrike an asset

* This is a full-time permanent position, union level E. UJA hours of work are 34 hours per week. Employees are currently expected to work from the office on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
