About the Birthright Israel Foundation of Canada
Established in 2001, Birthright Israel Foundation of Canada (BRIFC) raises funds in Canada for Canadian participation on Birthright Israel programs. BRIFC’s mission is to build financial support to ensure that the gift of a Birthright Israel experience will be available to increasingly more Canadian Jewish young adults today and for years to come.

About the programs we support
Birthright Israel began with an audacious idea in 1999: to offer Jewish young adults from across the world a life-changing educational experience in Israel to build their Jewish identity and by doing so, transform the Jewish future. It is the birthright of all young Jews to visit their ancestral homeland and thus forge a connection to their heritage and their community that can last a lifetime. Proudly recognized as the most successful Jewish identity and engagement-building program in Jewish history, Birthright Israel has been a gift to more than 850,000 participants from 70 countries including over 46,000 Canadians.

Birthright Israel Mission
Provide all Jewish young adults with opportunities for transformative and immersive shared experiences in Israel and a foundation for ongoing Jewish connection.
