Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day School is currently seeking qualified general and Judaic studies teachers for all grades (SK - Grade 8).
Qualifications:
- Ontario College of Teachers Certification
- At least three years of Jewish day school experience, teaching general and Judaic studies
- Knowledge of and experience with the Ontario Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to address the needs of all students.
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to keeping parents informed and engaged
- Proficiency with technology including iPads, Smart Boards, and typical classroom instructional and management applications
- Knowledge of and facility with traditional Jewish practices, celebrations, and prayer
