Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day School is currently seeking qualified general and Judaic studies teachers for all grades (SK - Grade 8).

Qualifications:

• Ontario College of Teachers Certification
• At least three years of Jewish day school experience, teaching general and Judaic studies
• Knowledge of and experience with the Ontario Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to address the needs of all students.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to keeping parents informed and engaged
• Proficiency with technology including iPads, Smart Boards, and typical classroom instructional and management applications
• Knowledge of and facility with traditional Jewish practices, celebrations, and prayer
