About the Opportunity
UJA Federation is seeking a passionate and experienced Content Manager to join our Marketing Team and take the lead in developing strategic content and materials to advance UJA’s marketing priorities in the area of Jewish programming.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work with the Director of Content and Chief Writer – in concert with UJA’s Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Education team, UJA’s Community Capacity Building team, and UJA’s Israel Engagement team – to develop a content strategy to market Jewish programming
- Write marketing content related to Jewish programming, including web copy, newsletter content, event promotional materials, ad campaigns, social media copy, etc.
- Work with Marketing colleagues to strategically deploy Jewish programming content across the array of UJA marketing vehicles
- Support colleagues with proofreading or other collaborative tasks, as needed
- Assist with content related to Jewish programming, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience writing in a professional capacity
- Strong writing and marketing skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Strong knowledge of Jewish community and Jewish identity-building experiences, including the work of UJA and our partner organizations in this field
This is a full-time 1-year contract position. At UJA we support a flexible work schedule and all of our employees engage in hybrid work. In addition to a rich time off policy, UJA’s offices are closed on all Jewish holy days (yom tov) and we support early office closures to observe the Jewish Sabbath (Shabbat).
