 xual slavery to Canada as government-sponsored refugees.  None of the rese
 ttlement organizations were prepared for the extreme level of trauma that 
 this community is experiencing.  Project Abraham\, first formed in 2015 to
  bring over privately-sponsored Yezidi refugees\, quickly put together vol
 unteer resettlement teams to support the Yezidis living in the GTA.   The
