New Challenges | Eternal Strength

The world today is faced with urgent threats and challenges fundamentally different than those of the last decade.

A global movement that seeks to revise history has emerged, questioning Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state. And many members of our next generation wonder why being Jewish is so important.

The future of Jewish life depends on our bold, determined response and how well we equip our next generation to deal with these daunting challenges.

This year, it is vital for United Jewish Appeal to raise an additional $2.5 million for programs that intensify the commitment among our young to Jewish identity, including our bond with Israel, to Jewish learning and to the Jewish community. Programs that train young online activists, reduce Birthright Israel waiting lists, send more Jewish kids to Jewish camps and encourage volunteerism for social causes. Programs nurturing the strength that has fortified us as a people for thousands of years.

With your support, UJA Campaign 2011, now underway, will offer thousands a fresh start on the journey to Jewish commitment and identification with the Jewish People.
